KERR REPORT ON THE FUTURE OF THE NHS IN SCOTLAND IS THE WAY FORWARD
Speaking after the publication of Professor Kerr’s report on ‘Building a Health Service Fit for the Future’, Inverclyde MP David Cairns said: "I welcome the report by Professor Kerr and I think that his vision for the future of the NHS in Scotland is the right one. Patients expect as much of their care as possible to be delivered in the community and, where possible, for services to be available locally - and this is just what Professor Kerr is recommending.

ARGYLL AND CLYDE HEALTH BOARD TO BE ABOLISHED
The announcement of the abolition of the Argyll and Clyde Health Board by Andy Kerr MSP, Health Minister in the Scottish Executive, was welcomed by Inverclyde’s Westminster representative David Cairns MP.
