LOCAL MP HONOURS WAR VETERANS AT EDINBURGH REMEMBRANCE SERVICE
Inverclyde MP David Cairns will be representing the UK Government at a special Veterans’ Service and Parade in Edinburgh on Sunday. The event is being held as part of Veterans’ Awareness Week (4-10 July) and David will be attending in his role as Deputy Secretary of State for Scotland. Huge crowds are expected at the service in St Giles Cathedral which will be followed by a reception in Holyrood Palace hosted by Princess Anne.
