ST FRANCIS’ PUPILS RAISE £400 FOR CHARITY
St Francis Primary School in Port Glasgow is one of the many Scottish schools creating a Tree of Life as part of their Lenten fundraising project. Every class in the school is taking part and, whenever £1 is raised, another colourful leaf is added to the tree. So by the time it came to Easter, the generous boys and girls had raised over £400 for SCIAF. The money will go towards planting trees in the developing world and ensuring that poor people can have a better standard of living.
