Constituency As part of my constituency work this month I went along to Port Glasgow High School and Highholm Primary to talk about the role of an MP. I also met with Riverside Inverclyde to get an update on the Waterfront development, spoke to representatives from the Heritage Lottery Fund about projects in Inverclyde, did an interview on Inverclyde for the Podcast Channel and saw people from the Phoenix Health Project. Surgeries This month I held surgeries in the Wellpark Mid Kirk church hall, Boglestone Community Centre, Salvation Army, 7½ John Wood Street and the Parliamentary Office. Scotland Office During May I attended a Big Lottery Fund meeting, a BBC reception and an SMG business breakfast to name but a few. I also went along to an event held by Amec, spoke on behalf of the Government in a debate on Child Poverty in Scotland and answered numerous written questions put to the Scotland Office.
